ABOUT
The ABVLM Employer Advocate Program offers a unique opportunity for employers to showcase their dedication to excellence in venous and lymphatic medicine (VLM). By participating in this initiative, employers signal their commitment to maintaining the highest standards in this rapidly growing specialty.
Certified ABVLM physicians undergo a thorough certification process and continually fulfill rigorous maintenance requirements to enhance their VLM expertise. This ensures that they are always at the forefront of best practices and innovations in the field. All organizations, including hospitals, physician groups, and multispecialty practices that employ VLM physicians are encouraged to apply and join this distinguished program.
CRITERIA

Provide VLM Care
Provide venous and lymphatic care in a clinical care setting.

Employ VLM Physicians
Employ at least 2 physicians who are a Diplomate of the ABVLM or would be eligible to apply for certification.

Advocate for ABVLM Certification
Encourage or require all VLM physicians to be or become a Diplomate of the ABVLM.

Offset Application Fees
Pay for at least 20% of ABVLM certification fees.

Offset Annual Fee
Pay at least 20% of ABVLM's Maintenance of Certification annual fee.
