May international physicians take the Certification exam?
The ABVLM certification examination is currently only open to physicians licensed to practice medicine in the United States of America, its territories, and in Canada. Graduates of foreign medical schools who practice in the US may apply, but must include a copy of their ECFMG Certificate and must be ABMS or ABOS Board Certified, as delineated in the criteria document.
